The DJI Mavic 3 Pro is the intended successor to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro , which is now the flagship compact flying machine of the drone giant – and is still one of the best drones you can buy.
We’ve been hearing vague whispers about the Mavic 3 for over six months now, but bigger leaks and rumours have recently emerged. These are far from official news, but they suggest that there could be a new Mavic ‘Pro this year. Or maybe the DJI Pro 3, given DJI’s phasing out of the Mavic name.
It’s already been a busy year for DJI. In April, the Chinese drone giant gave us the DJI Air 2S , which joined the likes of the DJI Mini 2 and . DJI Pocket as one of ten new consumer products introduced to the DJI range in the last 12 months alone.
Not to mention the recent announcement of intentions to enter the automotive industry , which will allow it to collaborate with established manufacturers to integrate its drone technology into the autonomous cars of the future.
However, if recent rumours are true, DJI seems to have left enough room on its timeline to release a sequel to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. It’s been two and a half years since DJI released its premium all-in-one device, so we expect an updated version to arrive in the not-so-distant future.
Could this update come as the DJI Mavic 3 Pro or maybe as a new type of drone? We’ve rounded up all the rumours and information about the highly anticipated drone, including a release date, price and expected specs, as well as what we’d like to see in the aerial photography table.
